General Meeting
February 8, 2007

 - Mr. F's comments:
   - It's official, there's a show for this year, but we won't know what it is until March 1st.
   - Commitment forms for this year's band went home this week and are due back by February 16th.
   - March 3rd and 17th are the first band rehearsal dates.
   - He's looking for a parent volunteer to join him on the scholarship committee.  If you can help with this please let him know. 
   - The scholarship committee is sponsoring a fund-raiser at Mama Lucia's on March 22nd from 4 p.m. to close.  Please support this worthy cause.

 - Ways and Means:
   -Winter concessions are still ongoing.  Five nights left plus playoff games, come out and help if you can.  There's a game this evening, and 3 games next week, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
   - Orders and money for the Wolfgang Spring/Easter candy sale are due by 16 October.  They can be dropped off in the white box in the band room or given to Debbie Auwarter or Debbie Stevens.  You can find us at the concession stand next week.
   - Sub sales will resume in March and April.
   - Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be held on March 17th.  Help is desperately needed for that.  More details to follow.
   - The basket bingo previously scheduled for February 24th has been cancelled and hopefully rescheduled for May.

- Other:

  - Mr. Woolley is putting together a recruitment video of the band.  If you have any video or pictures that he could use, please let him know. 

  - We're looking for someone to Chair publicity.  Cathy Gross has volunteered to co-chair, but she is not able to do it all by herself. 

-There are also several other committees that need chairpersons.  If you are interested in serving on any of the committees (even if you don't want to chair), please contact Mark Smith.  A small amount of your time goes a long way in supporting this outstanding band.
